Zita Slide

Zita Slide, 84, a long-time resident of Nashua, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at her home. She was born in Lithuania on August 23, 1937, and was a daughter of the late Valery (Jackunus) and Vito Slidziauskas.

After coming to the United States, Zita graduated from Brighton High School in Massachusetts and then entered the travel industry that she was very passionate about. She traveled the world and retired after a long tenure at Mercury Travel in Nashua, NH, where she worked as a Travel Agent.

Zita was a very loving aunt, great-aunt, sister and daughter. She will be remembered for her generosity, kindness and sense of humor. Zita enjoyed spoiling her family, even the dogs and bunnies. She also found great joy watching her Boston sports teams, especially the Bruins and completing crossword puzzles.

Zita is survived by and will be deeply missed by her two nephews, Michael Slide of Hudson, NH and Richard Slide and his wife, Erin of Merrimack, NH; her two nieces, Kelly Aubrey and her husband, Marc of Bow, NH and Laurie Martin and her husband, Frank of Merrimack, NH; her ten great nieces and nephews, Kayla, Kiara, Cameron, Jacob, Nicholas, Carter, Ava, Kaiden, Morgan and McKenzie; as well as many other loving family and good friends.

She was also the sister of the late Henry Slide.

A private memorial service will be held with her immediate family.
