Lowell - William D. Milnes, Sr., 59, a resident of Lowell, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Lowell on November 3, 1949, a son of the late Lillian (Milnes) Woodberry.
He served with United States Army during peacetime.
He is survived by three daughters, Lisa Stirk of Lowell, Sherry Giblin and her husband Kevin Giblin of Lowell and Bonnie Scipione and her husband James Scipione of Dracut: two sons, William D. Milnes, Jr. of Tyngsboro and Jesse Milnes of Lowell; ten grandchildren, Krystal, David, Tony, Natasha, Nicholas, Tatiana, Olivia, Caden, Cole and Shane. He also leaves several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
