William C. Bergeron

January 16, 1947 — June 23, 2015

Family was Bill Bergeron's most prized possession. They were with him when he passed on Tuesday June 23, 2015. He was 68.

Bill was born in Lawrence on January 16, 1947, a son of the late Harvey and Bernice (Moody) Bergeron.

He served in the Naval reserve and was activated to serve in Vietnam. On June 26, 1965 just before his deployment Bill married the love of his life, Jacqueline R. (Blanchette) Bergeron. They have been inseparable for the past 50 years. Where one was so was the other. Bill gave Jacqueline the "Best life anyone could give a wife".
Bill retired from Raytheon where he worked as a maintenance machinist. He enjoyed carpentry, and took great pleasure in making things for his family, especially his grandchildren.
Bill and Jacqueline enjoyed taking trips in their motor home. They traveled the countryside for more than 15 years. His children remember visiting every amusement park this side of the Mississippi. The worst trip was still worth taking.
Bill and Jacqueline enjoyed spending their winters in Florida. First it was North Miami and recently Melbourne Beach. He enjoyed his summer home and boating on Sunrise Lake in Middletown, NH. Bill loved to talk and tell a story. He may have even repeated a story once or twice. His favorite place to visit was Quebec, Canada and often spoke about taking another trip there.
Bill took great pride in his yard he had immeasurable pleasure in taking care of it.
Most of all it came down to family for Bill. His greatest joy was to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Bill cherished the role of Pepere .
He was a gentle man who will be missed by all who knew him.
