Wanda M. Carle

DRACUT- Wanda M. (Cyronis) Carle, a longtime resident of Dracut and widow of Gerard A. Carle, former Fire Chief of this Town, died July 9th in a local nursing home following an extended illness. Born in Lowell on November 10, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Paul and Sophie Mary (Jackimowicz) Cyronis. She was educated in local schools. Prior to her retirement in 1982, Wanda had been employed as an executive secretary in procurement and management departments of the Raytheon Corp. She held membership in the Raytheon 25th Century Club. Her other memberships include the D'Youville Manor Ladies Guild, the League of Catholic Women, and the Dracut Senior Citizens Club. Surviving her are a sister Stasia Rudgis of Billerica; a brother and his wife Henry and Shirley Cyronis of Dracut; She was the Godmother of Cynthia Claig and Jeremy Proulx, both of Dracut. She was also the sister of the late Viola Flaler of Lorain, OH, and sister in law of Ralph Flaler of Lorain, OH and Edward Rudgis of Billerica.
