OBITUARY
Salem, NH- Walter J Perigny, 86, a former Dracut resident, died Wednesday, Aug 10, 2005 at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Miller) Perigny.
Born in Lowell on May 23, 1919, he was educated in Lowell Schools. He served in the US Navy during World War II during which time he received the WWII Victory Medal, the American Theatre and Asiatic-Pacific Medals.
Prior to his retirement, he was 2nd shift foreman with Commodore Foods. A Dracut resident for over 30 years, he was a communicant of St Mary Magdalen Church. He was a member of AARP.
Surviving him are a son, W James Perigny of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a daughter with whom he resided, Darlen Rose Perigny-Leclair of Salem, NH and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves dear family friends, Valerie and Kevin Smith of Nashua and Georgeanne Sullivan of Salem, NH.
