Vincent R. "Buddy" Goforth

Vincent R. “Buddy” Goforth, age 62, a longtime resident of Lowell died Friday, October 20, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness.  He was the beloved partner of Terrie Rodrigue for 27 years.  

He was born in Palmyra, Maine on February 10, 1961, and was a son of the late Vincent C. Goforth and Roseline (Coutu) Reynolds.  He received his education in Lowell schools.  

Buddy was employed for many years in the parts department at Autofair in Tewksbury.  

In his free time, he enjoyed playing horseshoes, camping, country music, science fiction movies, going to the beach and playing with the granddogs.   

In addition to Terrie, Buddy is survived by his two daughters, Rebecca Goforth of Lowell and Tammi Dunn of Nashua, NH; his stepdaughters Donna Dubois and her husband and Andy of Wilton NH, Nicole Jacques and her husband Heath of Dracut, MA and Monique Rodrigue of Lowell; eight grandchildren, Andrew, Avery, Natalie, Katelynn, Caulin, Emily, Savanah and Molly; three brothers, John Reynolds and his wife Kathy of Nashua, NH and Charlie Reynolds and his wife Tracy of Londonderry, NH and Henry Reynolds and his girlfriend Laurie Gleason of Lowell; two sisters, Theresa Giordano of Amesbury and Roseline Robidoux and her husband Mike of New Boston, NH; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  

He was also the father-in-law of the late Brian Dunn and the brother of the late Bernadette O’Brien.  

It being his wish, there will be no services.
