Dracut - Victor A. Dery, 83, husband of Germaine (Martin) (Loiselle) Dery, a Dracut resident, died Monday February 7, 2005 at the Saints Memorial Medical Center, following a brief illness.
He was born in Lowell on December 11, 1921, a son of the late Louis and Emma (Theriault) Dery.
Mr. Dery was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Air Force, he was employed by Delta Air Lines for 38 years as the head of shipping and freight department. Mr. Dery was also a member of the Lowell American Legion, VFW Walker Rogers Post 662, and Green Meadow Golf Club.
Surviving him besides wife are two step daughters, Suzanne Lagasse of Lowell, Denice Loiselle and her companion Satiro Melo of Lowell; a stepson Roger Loiselle and his life partner Michael Dragon of Meredith, NH; two grandsons Glenn and Scott Lagasse; a granddaughter Savannah Melo. He was the brother of the late Normand and Alfred Dery.
