Victor D. Denault, 87, a lifelong Lowell resident, died Wednesday March 9, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn F. (Kiernan) Denault of Lowell.
Born in Dracut on February 8, 1924, he was a son of the late Joseph M. and Flora (Forget) Denault.
In 1943, Victor enlisted in the United States Army serving as a Sergeant during WWII.
Vic spent his entire career working as a pipefitter for Reichold Chemical Industries of Andover.
He held membership in the Dracut American Legion, Dracut Senior Citizens Club, Centralville Senior Citizens Club and the East End Club. Victor was very active in the Polish American Veterans Drum and Bugle Corps serving as the groups equipment manager. He eventually became an honorary member of the Polish American Veterans. Victor was a man who could be called upon to fix just about anything. He was an excellent craftsman and carpenter. He also took pleasure in gardening.
Vic was a communicant of St. Michael Church
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Raymond K. Denault and his wife, Melinda of San Jose, CA; a daughter, Sharon A. Beaudry and her husband, Roland of Lowell; four grandchildren, Michelle MacAulay, Shaun Beaudry, Christopher Denault and Brandon Denault; four great grandchildren, Amber Hynes, Caitlyn Hynes, Michael Beaudry and Brady Denault; three sisters, Rita McQuarrie of FL, Theresa Chamberlain of FL and Gertrude Moffet of Beverly. He was the brother of the late Raymond, Bella and Paul Denault, Ella Dion, Lillian Ryan and Cecile Blais.
