Thomas E. Linardy

Lowell - Thomas E. Linardy, 63, beloved husband of Bertha A. (Supprise) Linardy, died unexpectedly on Monday June 18, 2007 at the Saints Medical Center in Lowell.
He was born in Rutland, VT, on October 8, 1943, a son of the late Robert and Josephine (Murray) Linardy. Mr. Linardy had lived in Cambridge and Somerville prior to moving to Lowell several years ago.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served in the US Army
Thomas was employed by Harvard University in Cambridge where he worked at the JFK School of Government for Allied Barton Security Co.
Thomas enjoyed furniture refinishing, building models, especially wooden ships. He also enjoyed history, poetry and trivia. Family members remember him best as a caring and kind person.
Surviving him besides his wife are three daughters Lee Ann Marks of CO, Marie Marshall and Theresa Barchard, both of Dracut; a son, Michael Delicato of Dracut; seven brothers and a sister John Linardy of Parkton, NC, James Linardy of Neeham, Mary Carey of NJ, Bernard Linardy of Sierra Vista, AZ, William Linardy of Randolph, David Linardy of Medway, Robert Linardy of West Islip, NY, Leo Linardy of Oceanside, CA; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
