Thomas P. Lacaillade

Thomas P. Lacaillade, Sr. a longtime Dracut resident, died with his loving family by his side on Saturday September 5, 2009 at the Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness. He was 68.
Born in Burlington Vermont on August 15, 1941, he was a son of the late Carl and Mary (Stone) Lacaillade.
Tom was the owner and operator of UNI-GRIND Co. for more than forty years. He was a dedicated and skilled machinist and rarely missed a day of work. As a young man, he was an avid hunter and he also enjoyed many types of sports, especially baseball and football. He enjoyed spending time traveling with his longtime love, Connie. He was an excellent provider and father.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas P. Lacaillade, Jr. and his wife, Sandra of Dracut, Brian Lacaillade and his wife, Kathy of Raymond, NH, James Lacaillade and his wife, Shelley of Amherst, NH; a daughter, Kathy Cerretani and her husband, Richard of Cape Coral, FL; a brother, Larry Lacaillade and his wife, Martha of Fern Park, FL; his spousal equivalent, Connie Mercier and her family; ten grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; many nieces, nephews and cousins; including Patricia Stone and Cooper. He was the brother of the late Carl Lacaillade, Jr.
