Thomas H. Frankland, Jr.

Thomas H. Frankland, Jr., age 82, died on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Lowell General Hospital. He was born in Lowell on September 13, 1943 and was the beloved son of the late Esther Lucille (Schurman) and Thomas Holt Frankland, Sr.

He worked many years as an auto mechanic in Lowell. Thomas was a lifelong Boston Bruins and Red Sox enthusiast and an avid fan of NASCAR. He had a passion for the outdoors and a love for nature and camping.

Thomas is survived by his companion, Ann Hanscom of Lowell; his three daughters, Alicia Woods and her partner, Johnathan Beach of Manchester, NH, Kimberly Murphy and her partner, Rodney Adams of Nashua, NH and Jennifer Frankland and her partner, Karl Burnor of Shelburne, VT; his ten grandchildren, Rochelle, Alex, Delani, Jillian, River, Paula, Jamison, Amelia, Hiro and K.J.; his four great-grandchildren, Maizy, Logan, Owen and Hunter; his “favorite” niece, Diane LeBlanc; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

He was the brother of the late Barbara Calhoun.

Relatives and friends are invited to Thomas’ Life Celebration on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 4 until 7 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Burial will be held privately.
