Thomas E. Curtin, husband of the late Flore H. (Brodeur) (Pelletier) Curtin, a Centralville resident, died Monday January 16, 2012 at the Saints Medical Center. He was 92.
Born in Lowell on October 6, 1919, he was a son of the late William and Sarah (Murphy) Curtin.
A veteran of WWII, Thomas had served in the Army Air Force attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a dyer for the Faulkner Mills in Billerica, retiring in 1988 after 35 years of service.
Thomas was a communicant of St. Michael Church. He was a member of AARP and the Lowell VFW – Walker Rogers Post 662.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Pelletier and his wife Maureen of FL, Normand Pelletier and his wife Terry of Hudson, NH, Michael Pelletier and his wife Alice of Dracut; two daughters, June Coravos and her husband Timothy of Dracut, Cynthia Pelletier and her companion Joe Cardoza of Lowell; 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Nancy Curtin and brother of the late William J. Curtin.
