OBITUARY - Thomas F. Busby - Dracut resident; Raytheon Employee; Offset Printer
DRACUT - Thomas F. Busby, 65, a long time Dracut resident, died Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Boston following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Rosemarie (Dupuis) Busby to whom he had been married for 44 years.
Born in Lowell on January 12, 1939, he was a son of the late Edwin and Cecilia (Mann) Busby.
Mr. Busby was a graduate of St. Peter's Grammar School and Lowell High School.
Prior to his retirement following over 40 years of service, he was employed as an offset printer by the Raytheon Corp. of Bedford, MA.
Mr. Busby enjoyed the outdoors and hunting as a sport.
He was a communicant of St. Michael Church and was a very active member in St. Michael's Bingo, 1000 Club, Holy Name Society and the Parish C.Y.O.
Mr. Busby's children and grandchildren gave him great pleasure.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, and two sons-in-law, Cynthia and Kevin Hanley of Lowell and Bettyann and Jeffrey Canney of Dracut; three grandchildren, Caitlin Hanley, Thomas Hanley and James Canney; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Catherine Busby of Lowell, Frances Busby of Tyngsboro, Wilfred and Georgette Dupuis, Harold and Cecile Dupuis, Jeannette D'Hondt and Emily Dupuis, all of Lowell; several nieces and nephews; dear friends, Harvey and Loyce Gagnon and Charles and Blanche Mahaleris, all of Dracut.
He was the brother of the late Frances Wallace, Joseph, James, Edwin and Robert Busby.
