Thomas H. Berube

Dracut - Thomas H. Berube, Sr., 77, beloved husband of Jeanne A. (Larose) Berube, with whom he would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 14, a Dracut resident, died Sunday June 11, 2006, from complications due to diabetes at the Saints Memorial Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Lowell on May 14, 1929, a son of the late Thomas L. and Emma (Beland) Berube.
Mr. Berube was educated in Lowell schools and a graduate of Lowell High School.
He was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church in Lowell. Mr. Berube was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the Army.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a court officer at Lowell District Court for 14 years. He was previously employed as a foreman for New England Cement Block and Pipe in Dracut, and was a Special Police Officer in the town of Dracut for many years.
Most of all Mr. Berube enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivng him besides his wife are a son and daughter in law, Thomas H. Berube, Jr. and Renu Bhardwaj of Ashland; two daughters and sons in law, Suzanne and James McHale, Laureen and Thomas Belleville all of Pelham, NH; a sister Janet Schiripo of Dracut; five grandchildren, Jenna and Michael McHale, Alyson and Ryan Belleville, and Aryan Berube; several nieces, nephews and many close friends. He was also the brother of the late Eugene Berube and Irene Cesolini.
