Thomas J. Barry

DRACUT - Thomas J. Barry, 86, a resident of Dracut, died Tuesday morning January 3, 2017 at a local health care facility with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Yvette O. (Carpentier) Barry.

Born in Lowell on July 19, 1930 he was a son of the late Joseph and Alice (Buisson) Barry. He was the last surviving of their eleven children.

Prior to his retirement Mr. Barry was employed as a truck driver with Albert H. Notini and Sons of Lowell. He enjoyed bowling, ballroom dancing and carpentry work.

Mr. Barry leaves two children and their spouses; Russell J. Barry and Bonnie J. Silva of Newbury and Debra A. and Richard M. Wells of Milford, NH, two grandchildren; Christopher M. Wells of Nashville, TN and Stephanie Y. Wells of San Diego, CA. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
