Thomas R. Bailey, 55, a resident of Lowell, died on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Boston Medical Center.
Born in Methuen on May 10, 1962, he was a son of Paul R. and Irene A. (Bechard) Bailey of Dracut.
Tom was employed as a chef at various restaurants' in the local area. He had also been employed as a mechanical assembly technician.
He was a passionate chef and will always be remembered for his artistic and delicious food presentation. His artistic talents were extended to but not limited to painting, and drawing in all art forms. He was an avid movie enthusiast, James Bond being his favorite. His children will cherish the movie Avatar as it was his second favorite, and final movie they watched with him.
In addition to his parents he leaves his children, Irene J. Bailey and her paramour Eugene F. Makara, III of Lowell, the late Samantha M. Bailey, Derrick P. Bailey and his wife Laura J. of Raymond, NH, Paul T. Bailey and his girlfriend Samantha Beaulieu of Dracut, Alexandria A. Bailey and her fiancé Zachary Goerke of Dracut; stepdaughters, the late Josephine H. Dion, Nicole M. Dion of Dracut; siblings, John W. Bailey and his wife Katherine of Lunenburg, Joseph R. Bailey and his wife Aida of Beverly, Stephen R. Bailey, Gerard Bailey and Juliette D. Kennedy and her husband Allen Jr all of NH, Nancy Rondeau of Dracut; grandchildren, Aurore B. Makara, Alec A-B Goerke, the late Samuel M. Goerke; step grandson, Vincent A. Galvin; also many nieces and nephews.
Tom's Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning, January 29, at 10 AM in Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish, 1340 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, MA. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
