Therese I. (Ouellette) Swanson

BILLERICA - Therese I. (Ouellette) Swanson, 79, resident of Billerica, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, May 26, 2018, with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Norman E. Swanson.
Born in Lowell on October 12, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Leo J. and Anna M. (Perras) Ouellette.
Therese was a graduate of St. Louis Parochial School and St. Louis Academy.
Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Advanced Automation Company.
She enjoyed trips to Foxwoods with her sister Pauline and spending time at the Lowell Senior Center with her long-time friends. She was also a member of Cercle Jeanne-Mance.
Most important to Terry was spending time with family - primarily her children, grandchildren and great grandson.
She leaves three children, Michael S. Swanson of Osceola, WI., John E. Swanson and his wife Karen M. (Robb) of Billerica and Kristen M. Atwood and her companion Kevin Townshend of Chelmsford; a sister, Pauline Woodbury of Cape Coral, FL; nine grandchildren - John Franchio, Erika and Rachel Swanson, Ryan and Corey Swanson, Jessica and Benjamin Atwood, Eric and Kara Swanson; a great grandson, Carter Swanson; also, many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Terry was the mother of the late Laurie A. Franchio and Keith T. Swanson and sister of the late Doris C. Eno and Maurice L. Ouellette.
SWANSON - Relatives and friends are invited to Terry's Memorial Visitation on Thursday morning, May 31, from 9 until 11 AM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM in St. Francis Church, 115 Wheeler Road, Dracut. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Lowell House, Inc., 555 Merrimack St., Lowell, MA 01854.
