Therese (Lambert) Dominique, 82, of Port Richey, FL, beloved wife of Andre Dominique, left this world on March 1, 2010 at her Florida residence.
Born in Lowell on May 11, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Ernestine (Grady) Lambert.
She was employed for many years as a mechanical inspector for Raytheon of South Lowell. She was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church in Lowell. Therese was a former member of IBEW Local 1505, AARP, NAFCA, Bounders United, Bounders of America and the Good Sam Club.
She led a rich life traveling by motor home with her husband and friends throughout the continental United States, Canada and Mexico. She loved life on the road in the "Bounder" following the motto "Squaw No Cook"! She also enjoyed Church, fishing, dancing, bowling and telling a good joke. She made many friends throughout her travels, but she enjoyed her family most of all.
Therese is survived by four children who always thought of their beloved mother as a friend and confidant; Albert Dominique of Lynn, Rita Dominique-Katz and her husband Steven of Spring Hill Fl, Andre Dominique Jr. of MA, Mark (Paul) Champagne of MN. She was a second mom to her grandsons Christopher and Stephen Panagiotopoulos of Chelmsford, Oh how they love their Memere! She was also the mother of the late Jean M. Dominique, some wounds never heal.
She is also survived by her brother Ernest Lambert of Lowell MA, and two sisters Jeanne Guay of MD and Doris Neal of MD.
One of her favorite quotes was "A Time to Laugh and Time to Cry", and boy could she make us all LAUGH!
