Therese C. (Beaudoin) Decelle, 95, a Lowell resident, died Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at a local healthcare facility. She was the beloved wife of the late Henri Decelle.
Born in Lowell on June 21, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Alexandre and Celida (Beaulieu) Beaudoin.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Decelle was employed as a merrow stitcher for the Suffolk Knitting Company.
She was a communicant of both the former St. Jean Baptiste Church and St. Louis de France Church. She was a member of the Centralville Senior Citizens Club and was the past president and treasurer of the St. Joseph Bowling League.
She is survived by a son, Gerard Decelle and his wife Glee of Ruckersville, VA; a daughter, Ethel M. Decelle of Westminster, MD; four grandchildren, Raymond Hamelin and his wife Kathi of DE, Therese Hall and her husband John of Lowell, Diane Hamelin of Reisterstown, MD and Carol Diluzio and her husband Tom of Bear, DE; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
