Therese M. "Terry" (Boulanger) Boissonneault, 89, a Lowell resident, beloved wife of Donald E. Boissoneault with whom she recently celebrated 70 years of marriage passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, June 8, 2018.
Born in Dracut on June 8, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Armand and Gabrielle (Quessy) Boulanger.
Terry was a lifelong resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell. She graduated from Lowell High School. Terry worked for several years at the Raytheon Coroporation, and Modicon Company where she worked as an inspector.
She was a communicant of the former Ste. Jeanne D'Arc Parish where she was an active member of the St. Vincent De Paul Society. Terry also volunteered at the former St. Joseph Hospital in Lowell.
Terry loved to knit and crochet and she especially loved to make blankets for her grand children and great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, dancing and playing cards with friends.
Surviving her besides her husband are her six children, Normand Boissonneault and his fiancé Jackie Poitras of Tyngsboro, Dianne Boissoneault of Lowell, Priscilla Plourde and her husband David of Dracut, Gloria Dyleski of Hudson, NH, Carol Dillon and her husband James Lowell, Kimberly Richards of Dracut; twelve grandchildren, Jolynn Vandinter and her husband Walter, Neal Boissonneault and his wife Tanya, Nicole White and her husband Greg, Jamie Boissonneault, Chris Boissoneault and his wife Jennifer, Christine LaPlante and her husband Raymond, Michael Dyleski and his fiancé Meghan McKinnon, Andrea Paquin and her husband Patrick Dooley, Jennifer and Megan Dillon, Joshua and Adam Richards; fifteen great grandchildren; a sister, Jeannine Laroche of Springfield, FL; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend Priscilla Leduc. She was also the sister of the late Paul Boulanger, Madeline Belley, and Jacqueline Dadoly.
Relatives and friends are invited to Terry's Life Celebration at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street from 4 until 8 PM on Monday. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Parish, 115 Wheeler Rd. Dracut. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry's memory may be made to Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, 1801 Willamette St. Suite 200, Eugene, OR 97401.
