Therese E. (Breton) Berard

Therese E. (Breton) Berard, 78, died on Saturday, May 21, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Raymond W. Berard with whom she would have celebrated 55 years of marriage in July.

She was born in Lowell on March 30, 1944 and was a daughter of the late Elme (LaBelle) and Arthur Breton. Therese was educated in Lowell at St. Louis School and Keith Hall, and she went on to receive her degree in education at Rivier College. Simply put, she loved to teach and taught for nearly 40 years at St. Louis School.

Therese and Raymond enjoyed taking road trips with each other and traveling to different places, including Hawaii and Florida. Some of their best memories were taking the family on various adventures.

In addition to her husband Raymond, Therese is survived and will be deeply missed by her two children, Lisa Berard of Haverhill and Darrin Berard and his wife Linda of Lowell; her eight grandchildren, Molly, Alana, Benjamin, Erin, Jason, Lys, Aidan and Olivia; her sister, Lorraine (Breton) Rogers of CT and her brother, Richard Breton and his wife Olivia of NH.

Relatives and friends are invited to Therese's Life Celebration on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 4 until 7 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in St. Francis Church, Dracut. Burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
