Theresa E. (Bevins) Vezina

Theresa E. (Bevins) Vezina, 84, a resident of Pelham, NH, died following a brief illness on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late George P. Vezina.
Born in Lowell on October 3, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Warren J. and Cecilia (Goyette) Bevins.
A former Lowell resident, she retired from Wang Labs in Lowell. She was a member of the Lowell Senior Citizens and enjoyed the monthly dinner dances hosted by the Salvation Army.
She enjoyed doing puzzles, knitting, reading, and dancing. She also belonged to the St. Jude League and AARP.
She liked to travel, especially to Arizona, the White Mountains, New York and the beach.
Her family remembers her as a sweet, caring, compassionate mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She loved cookouts and Holiday celebrations spent with her family.
Mrs. Vezina was of the former St. Jean Baptiste Church heritage and was currently a communicant of St. Michael Church.
Mrs. Vezina leaves four children, Kenneth and Elaine (Baillargeon) Vezina of Lowell, Sandra Dery of Pelham, NH, Paul and Pauline (Freitas) Vezina and Angela Hall, all of Lowell; six siblings, Pauline Bisson and her husband Raymond, Robert Bevins and his wife Evelyn, Shirley Dufresne, Dorothy Carbonneau and her husband Emile, Eva Crawford and Alfred Bevins and his wife Aline, all of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Pauline Bevins of AZ; eight grandchildren, Scott, Duane, Craig, Derek, Kenrick, Krystal, Zachary and Jeremy; six great grandchildren, Tyler, Nicole, Alexander, Olivia, Kayla and Nicholas; also many nieces and nephews. She was the mother-in-law of the late Donald E. Dery, sister of the late Donald Bevins, Warren J. Bevins, Jr. and Rita Gustafson, and sister-in-law of the late Clinton Crawford.
