Beloved Wife and Mother
LOWELL - Theresa D. (Guerin) Damboise, age 80, a longtime resident of Lowell died unexpectedly Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerard A. "Gig" Damboise, who died in 2013.
She was born in Lowell on March 8, 1941, and was a daughter of the late Albert W. And Lorraine V. (Sauvageau) Guerin. She received her education in Lowell schools.
Prior to her retirement, Theresa worked for most of her career for several area electronics manufacturing companies including Wang Laboratories and Raytheon. Earlier in life she was employed in the Lowell Mills, including Lowell Shoe.
She loved all animals, especially her dogs, cats, and bird. She also enjoyed playing bingo and doing jigsaw puzzles that she would frame and give as gifts. Her greatest joy however, was spending time in the company of her loving family and friends.
Theresa is survived by her three daughters, Karen Berube and her husband Lenny of Pelham, NH, Shelley Drewett and her husband Jim of Haverhill, and Jodie Tracy and her husband Scott of Greenfield, NH; eight grandchildren, Tommy Drewett, Michaelagh Tracy, Sierra Tracy, Cameron Tracy, Daniella Tracy, LJ Berube, Kyle Berube, and Justin Berube and his wife Shana; three great grandchildren, Mason Berube, Benjamin Berube, and Jaden Rutstein; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Richard Guerin, Claudette Gallant, and Nancy Downs and the half sister of the late Gloria Lebreque.
Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa's memory to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
