Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa C. Berard, age 87, on January 2, 2025. Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Terry was the widow of the late Robert A. Berard. She leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and cherished memories.

Terry Berard was the proud mother of four children: three daughters, Rachel Aubin and her husband Michael; Michelle Jordan and her husband Jim; Denise Hoey and her husband Brian; and one son Bob Berard and his wife Dee. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren, James, Savannah, Phillip, Brian, Tyler, Ben and Cassidy and one great-granddaughter, her best buddy, Isabella, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

19 years ago, Terry lost her husband Bob, a heartbreak she carried with grace. Though she missed him deeply every day, she lived her life fully with her family by her side. We take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with him, her greatest love, where they can once again share in the happiness they built together.

Her beloved baby sister, Doris, and her brother-in-law Gerry meant the world to her. They traveled, laughed and made so many countless memories that Terry cherished and spoke fondly about often. She was so grateful to have them in her life.

Known for her adventurous spirit, she loved her time at the casino, where she found joy in the excitement and thrill of the games. Her playful nature extended to her daily life, especially in her modern-day texting endeavors. Her talk-to-text messages, often filled with whimsical and unintentional errors, became a source of laughter for her loved ones, as they embraced the humorous and quirky results. Her sense of humor was one of the many gifts she shared with those around her. She was also an avid crocheter.

Her love for family was immeasurable, and even through her funny texts, she made sure to stay connected with her children and grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious laugh will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though she has left this world, her spirit lives in the hearts of those she loved. She was, and always will be, an extraordinary woman who touched countless lives with her generosity, humor, and unwavering love for her family. Rest in peace, dear mom. Your memory will forever bring us comfort, laughter, and love.

She was predeceased by her oldest sister, Pauline and her husband Raymond Berard. Special thank you to Father Mike who came to see Terry in her last hours to give her a blessing.
