OBITUARY
Theodore F. "Ted" Tabloski, 88, a Lowell resident, died Wednesday, December 8, 2004 in Acton, MA. He was the husband of Blanche M. (Stepinski) Tabloski with whom he was married in 1937.
Born in Lowell on January 10, 1916, he was a son of the late Francis and Jozefa (Cwiklik) Tabloski.
Mr. Tabloski was a decorated War Veteran receiving the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart while serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre during World War II with the United States Army.
He was a successful businessman and civic leader in Lowell, and owned, ran and worked at Tabloski's Bakery in the Centralville section of Lowell for most of his career. He was the president of the Polish National Home in Lowell for many years and was active in Lowell politics.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Theodore F. and Patricia A. Tabloski Jr. of Concord, MA; his granddaughter, Laura A. Tabloski of Westfield, NJ; his great grandchildren, Samuel, Anna and Charles Shulman, all of Westfield, NJ; several nieces and nephews among whom is Lorraine McQuade and her husband Charles of Lowell and their sons, Charles McQuade of Andover and Stephen McQuade of Lowell. He was the brother of the late William, Stanley and Helen Tabloski and Victoria Stepka.
