Thaddeus T. "Ted" Grygiel

Tewksbury – Thaddeus T. "Ted" Grygiel, a Tewksbury resident, died on Monday April 2, 2012 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, following a brief illness. He was 68.
Born in Central Falls, RI, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Mary B. (Ulaszko) Grygiel.
Ted was the owner of New England Window Cleaning, a company started by his father many years ago.
Ted had many interests and hobbies, some of which were piloting, fishing and scuba diving. He enjoyed diving in Bar Harbor, ME, where he would go every November for scallops. His family benefited from the many lobster fests Ted would have after his diving adventures.
He also took pleasure in restoring old cars. His latest project was a 1955 Willis Jeep which was nearing completion.
Ted was also a member of the Lowell Lodge of Elks, BPOE Lodge 87.
Survivors include a sister and brother in law Theresa and Edward Miller, Jr. of Dracut; a brother and sister in law, Joseph M. and Patricia Grygiel of Chester, NH; nieces and nephews, Deborah Preston and her husband John, Daniel Miller and his wife Leni, Donna Roy and her husband Thomas, David Miller and his wife Heidi, Diane Surprenant and her husband John, Nancy McCarthy and her husband Barry, Laurie Doherty and her husband John, Julie Strong and her husband Jeffrey, Joseph Grygiel, Jr. and his wife Courtney; and aunt Alice Kutniewski of RI,; cousins Gloria Grygiel and Carol Battersby both of RI; and several great nieces and great nephews.
