Sylvia Mae (King) Lehman, beloved wife of Charles Lehman, of Lowell passed away Dec. 12 2016 at the Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She was 81
Sylvia was born in Deerfield, NH on May 21, 1935, a daughter of the late Cecil H. and Helen C.F. (Tuttle) King.
She was a 1995 graduate of the Lowell High School Adult Education. Sylvia had worked as a secretary, bookkeeper, and volunteered for many years at the Lowell Day Nursery.
She enjoyed knitting, Crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Sylvia was a 61 year member of Bedford Grange #283 and also a member of Eastern Star #212 serving as Worthy Matron. She was a longtime member of Cavalry Baptist Church. Sylvia was a fierce defender of her family and often volunteered in her community. Forever in our hearts.
Surviving her besides her husband of 64 years are her children and their spouses, Jo-Ann and Charles Spence, Brian Lehman, Helen Lehman, David Lehman and Tammy Kniaziuk, Jeffrey Lehman, Donna Lehman, Laurie and Ed Lotti, Douglas and June Lehman, Hope and Jason Bowman. Sister of Donald, Wayne, Judi(Lees) and Sandy (Noftle).Grandmother of Corey Spence and Christopher Dean, Amy and Mamadou Dienta, Kelly Lehman, Brian Lehman II and Rebecca Lehman, Christopher, Derek and Ashley Boland, Amanda and Nicole Lehman, Casey and Bernard Bettencourt, Adam and Michael Lehman; great grandmother of Korotoumou, Moussa, Omar, Annabelle, Aliyah, Dylan, Cameron, Nathan, Savannah, Abby; and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Cecil King.
