Suzanne C. Fortin

Suzanne C. (Fortin) Fortin, age 93, passed peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at d’Youville Senior Care. She was the beloved wife of the late Fernand A. “Frenchy” Fortin.

She was born on June 5, 1931 in Coaticook, Quebec, Canada and was the daughter of the late Cecile (Lebel) and Edward Fortin. She worked as a seamstress for various companies in the Greater Lowell area.

Suzanne was a member of Jeanne Mance and a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Parish.

She is survived and will be deeply missed by her four sons, Rock Fortin and his wife, Nancy of Lowell, Alain Fortin and his wife, Cathy of Tyngsboro, Michael Fortin and his wife Janice of Pepperell and Marc Fortin and his wife, Krista of Merrimack, NH; her nine grandchildren; her thirteen great-grandchildren; her brothers, Claude Fortin and Guy Fortin both of Canada; her sister, Monique Fortin of Canada; as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends.

She is predeceased by her sister, Jeannine Morin.

Relatives and friends are invited to Suzanne’s chapel service on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 1 PM at ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY CHAPEL, 96 Riverneck Road, Chelmsford.
