Susan A. (Hibbard) Ricard

BREWSTER - Susan A. (Hibbard) Ricard, 68, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Gerald J. Ricard with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on April 2, 1953, she was a daughter of the late John and Claire (Cryan) Hibbard.
Formerly of Lowell, Sue was a graduate of Chelmsford High School.
Sue had worked for Shaw's Supermarket on the Cape prior to her retirement.
She had a love of animals, especially turtles and her cat of many years, Chip.
Sue enjoyed gardening, baking and playing Keno. Paramount to Sue was her family, they were the center of her universe and she cherished time spent with Jerry, her children, grandchildren and extended family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all of her loved ones.
In addition to her husband Jerry she leaves four children, Gerald J. Ricard, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Genevieve Ricard, Christopher J. Ricard and his wife Danielle, Shawn M. Ricard and his wife Angela and Keri A. Ricard; two brothers, Jack Hibbard and his wife Laurie and William Hibbard and his wife Barbara; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Isabella, Benjamin, Christopher, Laurel, Nathan and Zachary Ricard; many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sue's Life Celebration on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10 AM in St. Francis Church, 115 Wheeler Road, Dracut. Following Mass services are concluded.
