Susan Philbrook

LOWELL - Susan Philbrook, age 69, a longtime resident of Lowell died Saturday, May 22, 2021 at her home following a long illness. She was the beloved fiancé of Larry Cote of Lowell, whom she was with for 16 years. He was the love of her life and cared for her throughout her illness.

She was born in Lowell on April 19, 1952, and was a daughter of the late Harold and Amelia (Davignon) Philbrook.

Prior to her retirement, Susan was employed for many years a nurse's aide.

In her free time, she enjoyed her scratch tickets.

In addition to Larry, Susan is survived by her son Paul O'Connor of Nashua, NH; her daughter, Melissa Brown of Hudson, NH; two sisters, Jean Young and her husband Leo and Phyllis Lawler; a brother, Harold Philbrook and his wife Janice; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Diane Philbrook, Ann Dumais, and Irene Benoit.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Susan's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Friday from 9:00 until 11:00 am followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery will be private.
