Susan E. Mousseau

Susan E. (Gauthier) Mousseau, 47, a resident of Hudson, NH, died on Thursday, September 27, 2012, following a courageous battle with T-Cell Lymphoma, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. She was the beloved wife of Donald L. Mousseau. Jr.
Born in Lowell on May 20, 1965, she was a daughter of the late Raymond R. and Martha (Fuhs) Gauthier.
She was employed by the Merra & Kanakis Law Firm of Nashua, NH as a paralegal.
In addition to her husband she leaves two sons, Donnie Mousseau III, a 10th grader at Alvirne High School and Zachary Mousseau, a 7th grader at Hudson Memorial School; two sisters, Kathleen Pare and Andrea Skibiki, both of Lowell; her father and mother-in-law, Donald L. and Virginia A. (Morrison) Mousseau, Sr. of Ocala, FL; two sisters-in-law, Debi Hanley of Lancaster, SC and Christine Mousseau of Hudson, NH; also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Susan and Don were active in fundraising for several local charitable organizations supporting Special Educators, Autism, Special Needs and Special Olympics. She also served on the Community Council at Gateways in Nashua. She worked tirelessly to further the education and health of their son Zachary who was diagnosed with Autism at 2 years of age. For a time she volunteered at Nottingham West Elementary school and worked as Paraprofessional working with special needs children.
Susan enjoyed traveling with her husband and family on vacations in North Conway where they loved to go snowmobiling, theme parks in Florida, Vegas, Foxwoods, and the Caribbean with her sister-in-laws. She also enjoyed camping, hiking and loved the beach, most recently enjoying a day on Rye beach several weeks before her passing. Susan loved golf, movies and watching sporting events especially the Patriots.
She was a gift to her husband, children, family and many friends, and touched so many lives in her 47 years. She will be missed dearly.
