Susan E. Gallagher

LOWELL - Susan E. Gallagher, 58, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at her home.
Born in Lowell on September 27, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Frederick P. and Eleanor R. (O'Hare) Gallagher, Sr.
Susan was educated in Lowell Schools and was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. She was employed by the City of Lowell School Department.
She enjoyed spending time with her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She is survived by 8 brothers and sisters, Frederick P. Gallagher, Jr. and his wife Ellin of Cummaquid, Mary Lee Lafferty and her husband Gerald of Hyannis, Eleanor Herlihy of Hyannis, Patricia Gallagher of Lowell, Robert Gallagher and his wife Charlotte of West Chester, PA, Sheila Hurley and her husband Richard of Palm Beach, FL, Richard Gallagher of Cotuit and Stephen Gallagher of Lowell; 22 nieces and nephews and 50 grandnieces and grandnephews. She was a sister-in-law of the late Maureen (Kelley) Gallagher and David Hurlihy and aunt of the late Michael P. Lafferty.
