Steven C. Young

TOWNSEND - Steven C. Young, loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn L. (Jardin) Young, with whom he shared 22 years of marriage. He and his wife Carol made their home in Townsend, MA.
Steven was born in Fitchburg, MA on December 4, 1969 a son of David and Patricia (Poudrier) Young, who survive him.
Steven was a graduate of North Middlesex High School and was also a graduate of the LPN program at Greater Lowell Technical High School.
He was employed as the director of activities at Fairhaven Healthcare Center in Lowell and was a dedicated advocate to all those in his care.
His hobbies included collecting action figures and comic books and attending concerts.
He had a wicked sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. If you knew Steven there was never a question of his fierce love for his wife Carol and his family.
In addition to his wife and parents he leaves his sister, Lori McDonald and her husband John; two brothers, Kevin and David Young; an aunt, Nancy Young; a brother-in-law, Edmund Jardin, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Luanne Mulligan and her husband Michael, Nancy Jardin Greco and Pamela Nison. Steven was an awesome uncle to his much loved nieces and nephews. He was also very fond of his cats Butterscotch and Ashes.
