Steven R. Bisson, a lifelong Dracut resident and beloved husband of Amy (Gosselin) Bisson passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at the age of 54 with his family by his side.
Steve was born in Lowell on March 13,1964, a son of the late Roland and Doris (Marcotte) Bisson. He attended school in Dracut and was a 1982 graduate of Dracut High School. Steve earned a Bachelor's degree from Rivier University, and recently completed his MBA at Southern New Hampshire University.
Steve was employed for the past 17 years as a logistics manager for the Raytheon corporation in their Andover offices.
Steve had a deep faith and was a longtime communicant of St. Francis Parish. He enjoyed the simple things in life. Steve looked forward to ice fishing with close friends, and running 5k races with his family. He was always caught up on sports, especially hockey, as he was a die hard Bruin's fan.
Steve was a man of few words, yet was still able to create laughs and lasting memories for those around him. Family was of great importance to Steve. He cherished laughs with his children, family vacations, and enjoyed nothing more than a family meal.
Besides Amy, his wife of 19 years, Steve is survived by his four children, Brenna, Brian, Kelly, and Colleen of Dracut; his siblings and their spouses, Ken and Ann Marie Bisson of East Hampstead, NH, Elaine and Don Tyler of Litchfield, NH; several aunts and uncles, including his God Parents Lillian and Lucien Dalpe of Dracut; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Steve's Life Celebration at the McKENNA OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell from 4 until 8 PM on Monday. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM in St. Francis Parish, 115 Wheeler Road, Dracut. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
