Stephen S. Goulakos

Lowell- Stephen S. Goulakos, 44, a Centralville resident died Friday July 7, 2006 following an eight year battle with cancer.
He was born in Lowell on February 8, 1962, a son of Phyllis (Wasner) Goulakos of Lowell who survives him and the late Evangelos Goulakos.
Mr. Goulakos was a 1981 graduate of Lowell High, and employed as a butcher for Lowell Provision.
He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed spending time at the beach and traveling, especially throughout Europe.
He is survived by a daughter, Nena Goulakos of Dracut; two sons, Stephen and Nicholas Goulakos of Dracut; two brothers, Thomas Goulakos and his wife Kim of Dracut and Paul Goulakos of Lowell; four sisters, Elizabeth Greenwood and her husband Timothy of Westford, Cynthia Goulakos of SC, Karen Goulakos of Lowell, Debra Howard of Dracut; his girlfriend, Catherine Murphy of Dracut; two nieces, Elaine Greenwood, Chelsea Flynn; four nephews, Thomas, and Steven Goulakos, Timothy Greenwood, and Joel Howard. He is also survived by his former wife, Kathleen (Mahoney) Goulakos of Dracut.
