Stephanie C. Chakar

Stephanie C. Chakar, age 15, a Pelham resident, died Tuesday June 22, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on June 16.
She was born in Nashua on April 21, 1989, a daughter of Samir and Linda (White) Chakar.
Stephanie had just completed her freshman year at Pelham High School where she played defense position as a sweeper on the varsity soccer team. She also played on the New Hampshire Travel Soccer team which won the state championship in 2002, and was a member of the New Hampshire Indoor Soccer Team. She was also active for many years in the Girl Scouts.
Surviving her besides her parents are her brother and sister, Jonathan and Marissa Chakar both of Pelham; her maternal grandfather John White of Old Orchard Beach, ME; and several aunts uncles and cousins. She was also the granddaughter of the late Chukri and Olga (Madani) Chakar, and Carol (Eaves) White.
