Sophie Mullen

Tyngsboro - Sophie (Sierzant) Mullen, 81, widow of Robert T. Mullen, a Tyngsboro resident, died Wednesday April 13, 2005, at the Lowell General Hospital.
She was born in Boston on December 24, 1923, a daughter of the late Karol and Frances (Nawojvck) Sierzant.
Mrs. Mullen was a resident of Medford for many years prior to moving to Tyngsboro several years ago.
While living in Medford she was a communicant of the Sacred Heart Church, taught CCD, and was a member of the choir. Mrs. Mullen was a member of the D'Youville Senior Adult Day Care Center.
She is survived by two daughters and a son in law, Judith A. and Robert Lynch of Tyngsboro, Susan Mullen of Hawaii; a sister Leonora Kodzis of Medford; a granddaughter Bridget Tara Lynch of Tyngsboro; three special friends, Quinn Kaysei, Charlie and Taylor Mullen all of Tyngsboro; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Stephanie Piaseczynski and Vincentia Swiet.
