LOWELL - Simonne T. (Nobert) Belanger, 93, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, passed away on Thursday morning, December 13, 2018, at a local healthcare facility. She was the loving wife of the late Victor O. Belanger.
Born in Lowell on June 12, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Lucy (Leboeuf) Nobert.
Prior to her retirement, Simonne was employed as a sales clerk in the retail industry.
Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by six children, Gabrielle Belanger and her wife Katherine Martin, Richard Belanger and his wife Violette, David Belanger, Judith Villeneuve and her husband Robert, Pauline Foote and her husband Allan and Michael Belanger; nine grandchildren, David Belanger and his wife Elizabeth, Christine Murphy and her husband Brian, John Villeneuve and his wife Elizabeth, Mark Surprenant and his wife Julie, Lisa Cadieux and her husband Keith, Robert Belanger and his wife Louann, Jennifer Belanger, Elizabeth and Gina Martin; a sister, Doris Shepard; also 15 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews. She was the grandmother of the late Richard Belanger.
Belanger - It being her request, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to Simonne's Memorial Funeral Mass on Thursday morning, December 20, at 10 AM in St. Rita Church, 158 Mammoth Road, Lowell.
