Lowell - Simone (Gaudette) Comtois, 92, widow of Ronaldo W.J. Comtois, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell died Wednesday May 18, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, NH
She was born in Canada on February 14, 1913, a daughter of the late Anasthase and Regina (Roch) Gaudette.
Prior to her retirement Mrs. Comtois was a stitcher for the former Lowell Dress Company and was a member of the ILGWU. She was a communicant of St. Louis de France Church, and was a member of the Centralville Senior Citizens' Club.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Maurice and Kathleen Comtois of Dracut, Norbert and Carol Comtois of Dover, NH, Raymond and Brenda Comtois of Tyngsboro, Bernard and Dolores Comtois of Dracut; a daughter and two sons-in-law Claudette and Wilfred Moge of Derry, NH, Armand Guilmette of Tyngsboro; a sister, Bertha Vallerand of Raymond, NH; eighteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves a lifelong friend, Jeanne Thellen of Hudson, NH. She was the mother of the late Rita Guilmette and sister of the late Germaine Houle and Marie Deschenes.
