Shirley M. Carrier

Lowell - Shirley M. (Genereux) Carrier, 70, a Lowell resident, died Saturday evening, January 6, 2007 in a local nursing home. She was the wife of the late Robert N. Carrier Sr.
Born in New Bedford on March 23, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Arthur L. and Margaret (Morrell) Genereux.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Carrier was employed by Soloman's Mental Health Center of Lowell.
She is survived by four sons, David Roy Sr. and his wife Claudette of Lowell, Steven Roy and his wife Cheryl of Lowell, Robert Carrier Jr. and his wife Lisa of Windham, NH and Rodney Carrier and his wife Jennifer of Tyngsboro; a daughter, Angela Carrier and her companion, Christopher Brathwaite of Lowell; a brother, Raymond Genereux and his wife Anne of New Bedford; a sister, Dorothy Daylor of New Bedford; a daughter-in-law, Charlene Roy of Hudson, NH; 20 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Raymond Roy and sister of the late Arthur Genereux.
