Shelbie Elise Murphy

LOWELL – Shelbie Elise Murphy, 17, a resident of Christian Hill, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Tufts Floating Hospital in Boston following courageous a 4 year battle with cancer.
Born in Lowell on May 14, 1997, she was a daughter of Jackie A. (Patenaude) Murphy of Lowell and Thomas M. Murphy of Methuen.
Shelbie was currently in her junior year at the Greater Lowell Technical High School enrolled in the technical program of painting and design as well as an honor roll student.
She was a member of St. Michael Parish, Lowell, MA.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her maternal grandparents, William H. and Janet A. (Nelson) Patenaude of Lowell; her paternal grandparents, Thomas M. and Joyce A. (McDonald) Murphy, Sr. of Hillsborough, NH; her aunts and uncles, Sharon (Patenaude) Murphy and her husband Michael of Lowell, Kathy (Patenaude) Dumont and her husband Peter of Dunstable and William Patenaude and his wife Melinda (Milinazzo) of Goffstown, NH, Ann Therrian of Hooksett, NH, Robert and Tammy Murphy and Howard and Kim Murphy, all of Wilmont, NH; her many cousins, among whom are Donald Murphy of Lowell, Peter and Jack Dumont of Dunstable, Madison and William Patenaude of Goffstown, NH.
