Sandra M. (Vezina) Dery, a Pelham resident and beloved wife of the late Donald H. Dery, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2024 following a period of declining health. She was 74.
Born in Lowell on April 15, 1950, she was a daughter of the late George and Theresa (Bevins) Vezina.
Sandra was employed by the former Wang Labs and retired from the Vicor Corporation where she was a process manager.
She was a member of the Pelham VFW Post 10722 Auxiliary, where she was an active volunteer and received the President's Award a few years ago. Sandra enjoyed playing Bingo and scratch ticket bingo. She looked forward to playing the lottery and taking a chance at scratch tickets. For Sandra her family was everything to her. She especially loved being with her grandchildren and was often seen on the sidelines of their soccer and basketball games.
Surviving Sandra are her two sons and daughters in law, Duane and Renee Durand of Nashua, NH, Derek and Amanda Durand of Pelham, NH; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Olivia, Alex, and Cooper Durand; a great grandchild Kai Durand; a brother and sister in law, Kenny and Elaine Vezina of Lowell; a sister Angel Vezina of Nashua, NH; sisters in law and brothers in law, Pauline Vezina of Lowell; Marie Sevigny of Braunfels, TX, Alice and Richard Sigman of Dracut Daniel Dery of Lowell, Arthur and Roberta Dery of Chelmsford; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Paul Vezina and former wife of the late Paul Durand.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sandra's Life Celebration in the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street from 4 until 7 PM on Monday. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Church 12 Main Street Pelham. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Sandra's memory may be made to the Pelham VFW Auxiliary Post 10722 Relief Fund, 6 Main St. Pelham, NH 03076.
