Russell D. Kenyon

Dracut - Russell D. Kenyon, widower of Barbara (Colbath) Kenyon, died unexpectedly Monday August 9, 2010 at his Dracut residence. He was 87.
Born in Lowell on May 17, 1923 he was a son of the late Daniel and Edith (Long) Kenyon.
Russell was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army Air Corps.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a textile designer at the local textile mills. Russell was a classical music enthusiast, who was also a semi professional clarinet player for many years having played for several dance bands in the 1950's and 60's.
He delighted in going on cruises and traveled the world.
Survivors include a daughter Robbyn Kenyon of Dracut; a brother Howard Kenyon of FL; a sister Evelyn Randall of Haverhill. He was also the father of the late Russell Ernest Kenyon who died in 1969.
