Rudloph E. Rudy LeClair

Rudolph E. "Rudy" LeClair, 62, a resident of Londonderry, NH, died Monday March 16, 2009 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was the beloved husband of JoAnn (Marinelli) LeClair with whom he celebrated 37 years of marriage on February 12, 2009.

Born in Lowell on December 25, 1946, he was the son of the late Rudolph J. LeClair and Lorette J. (Normandy) LeClair of Londonderry, NH.

Rudy was a 1964 graduate of Dracut High School.

He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1965 until 1968 attaining the rank of Sergeant.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an installer and repairman by Verizon Corporation for 25 years.

Rudy was a very kind and considerate person and was always willing to lend a helping hand where needed, especially to his friends and neighbors. Some of his hobbies included fixing a variety of things, tinkering and gardening. He took excellent care of the flowers at the entry way of his residence. Rudy gave his time freely and was active in various groups including the Harvest Village Community where he served as Chairman of Maintenance. He was also an avid Red Sox fan.

Besides his mother and his mother's dear friend, Normand Cloutier of Pelham, NH, survivors include two sisters, Denise Lehman and her husband, James of Tyngsboro, Linda Rynne and her husband, Joseph of Methuen; brothers and sisters in law, J.P. Marinelli and his wife Danzey Burnham of Lebanon, NJ, Paul Marinelli and his wife, Viji of Skillman, NJ, Carol McCusker and her husband, Tim of Norwood; nieces and nephews, Kris and David Beauchesne of Lowell, Tracey and Wayne Hadley of New Bern, NC, Lorette and Carl Rideout of Middleboro, Joey Rynne of Methuen, Sean and Bryan Marinelli of Skillman, NJ, Justin and Will Marinelli of Lebanon, NJ; three grandnephews and one grandniece, Cody and Matt Beauchesne and Cameron and Allyson Rideout; uncles and aunts, Richard and Laurie Leclair of Melbourne, FL, Joseph E. and Maria Leclair of Palm Bay FL, John and Donna Leclair of Londonderry, NH, Teddy and Dot Normandy of Dracut, Frank and Rose Normandy of CT; and many cousins.
