Rosemary "Rosie" (Ryan) Carr, 72, a longtime resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 9, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of the late Thomas Carr.
Born in Lowell on August 6, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Edward F. and Alice (Baxter) Ryan.
Mrs. Carr attended Lowell schools and was a 1956 graduate of Lowell High School.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church.
Rosie was an active member of the East End Club Ladies Auxiliary and was also a member of the Dom Polski Club. She volunteered as a foster grandmother at the Campbell School in Dracut, and also volunteered at the Lowell Health Department.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherrol A. Robertson and her companion Craig Clay of Palm Coast, FL and Nancy J. Beaudoin of Spokane, WA and her husband Scott Beaudoin of NH; two granddaughters, Shannon and Alyssa Robertson of Palm Coast, FL; a great grandson, Jordan; a son-in-law, Dale Robertson of FL; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in law and very special friends. She also leaves her beloved dog Daisy. She was the sister of Richard A. Barry, Jr. who died August 10 and Trudy F. Miller who died September 4.
