Rose A. (Bibeault) Reid

DRACUT - Rose A. (Bibeault) Reid, 86, died Friday, April 1, 2022 at Westford House. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Reid, until his passing in March of 2014.

She was born in Dracut on April 7, 1935, and was a daughter of the late Rose (Gagnon) and Wilfred Bibeault. She received her education in Dracut schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School. Rose was employed for many years in electronics by Wang Laboratories and Cirtech.

Rose loved to crochet and do crafts. She also enjoyed bowling, doing puzzles and playing bingo.

She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her children, Diane Dogherty of Plymouth, NH, Doris Morrissette and her husband Dennis of Laconia, NH, Jacqueline Psoinos and her partner Stephan Dec of Lowell and Richard Laferriere and his wife Terry of KS; her six grandchildren, David, Alicia, Ryan, Robert, Derek and Sarah; her eight great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Payton, Jaidyn, Olivia, Noah, Brody, Brianna and Jack; her niece, Sue Mercier; her good friend Amy Mason; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rose was also the mother of the late Robert Laferriere; the great-grandmother of the late Olivia; as well as the sister of her late siblings, Leo Bibeault, Romeo Bibeault, Maurice Bibeault, Henry Bibeault, Victor Bibeault, Norman Bibeault, Robert Bibeault, Frederick Bibeault, Irene Cody, Loretta Himel, Alice Tanguay, Jeanne Leary, Claire Bibeault and Theresa Bibeault. She is also predeceased by her first husband, Robert Laferriere and her second husband, Hugh Vaughey.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Westford House for the compassionate care given to Rose.

Relatives and friends are invited to Rose's Life Celebration on Wednesday, April 6th from 9 until 10 AM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Her funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home at 10 AM. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
