Rose M. (Hall) Martineau, of Dracut, the beloved wife of the late Robert N. Martineau, passed away on Sunday April 28, 2013 at a local nursing facility. She was 85.
Rose was born in Lowell on May 2, 1927, a daughter of the late Samuel and Bernadette (Boisvert) Hall.
In earlier years Rose worked in the mills and later at the former Wang Laboratories. She was a communicant of St. Mary Magdalen parish in Tyngsboro.
Rose enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and watching movies. She was an avid card player who loved playing Canasta.
Survivors include her son, Dennis R. Martineau of Dracut; two daughters and sons in law, Donna M. and Girard DeMange of Lowell, Joyce C. and Stephen Cerand of Mendon; five grandchildren, Sarah Enos, Rebecca DeMange, Lee Cerand, Seth Cerand, Jade Martineau; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Parker Cerand; a sister Irene Dufault of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Simeon Hall, Leo Hall, Arthur Hall, Connie Cuscia, Edith Fontaine, Victor Hall, and Bernie Hall.
