Lowell - Ronald E. Steere, 73, a resident of Lowell, died on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Lowell on March 16, 1936, a son of the late Earl C. and Eva Marie (Bechard) Steere.
Ronald was Honorably Discharged from the Army National Guard.
Prior to his retirement he was employed by the Vermont Paper Mill as a tractor trailer driver and recently he worked at Community Team Work as a driver.
He is survived by a son, Kenneth R. Steere of Dracut; a brother and sister in law Ralph C. and Sandra Steere of Hampstead, NH. He had nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a niece
