Roland J. Gauthier

DRACUT – Roland J. Gauthier, 79, of Dracut died on Tuesday, July 5 at Saints Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 9, 1932 in Lowell, a son of the late Alfred and Irene (Berube) Gauthier.
Roland was a graduate of Dracut High School. He served with the U.S. Air Force during peace time. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by New England Shutter of Dracut.
He is survived by four brothers; Albert Paul Gauthier, with whom he resided, Roger Gauthier and his wife Jacqui, of Dracut, Hector Gauthier and his wife Rhonda, of Hampton, NH, Richard Gauthier and his wife Gloria of Perry, GA; seven sisters; Mrs. James (Theresa) Spanos, Mrs. Frank (Germaine) Frietas, Mrs. Ronald (Diane) Daigle and Mrs. Dennis (Dolores) Kaplon, all of Dracut, Mrs. Ralph (Rita) Miele, Connie Gauthier and her companion Rita Toppi, all of E. Hampstead, NH, and Elizabeth Quintal of Derry, NH; a sister in law, Joan Gauthier of Tyngsboro, MA, and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the father of the late Jeanne M. Gauthier and brother of the late Rudy Gauthier.
