Roland L. Frechette

Lowell - Roland L. Frechette, 84, widower of Bridget E. (Demers) Frechette, a Dracut resident, died Friday evening at the Saints Medical Center.
He was born on December 8, 1922, in Coleraine, P.Q. Canada, a son of the late Fortunat and Marie Ann (Marcoux) Frechette.
Mr. Frechette was a Veteran of WWII, having served in the US Army.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a foreman for B.T.U. Engineering in Billerica. He was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish, and a member of the VFW Walker Rogers Post 662.
Survivors include a daughter and two sons in law, JoAnn and Joseph Whelan of Gilford, NH, James Smith of Dracut; a brother Roger Frechette of Lowell; three sisters and brothers in law, Cecile and George Chouinard, Theresa and Arthur Gagnon, all of Dracut, Estelle and Steven Kisley of Ocala, FL; a grandson, Randy and his wife Jennifer Wasylak of Bedford, NH; two great grandchildren, Jordan and Cameron Wasylak of Bedford, NH; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Brenda Smith.
